Just listened to your fireside chat. You two entertain as well as give food for thought. You are easy to listen to, don’t talk over each other, and easily keep the conversation going. Your comments on the election had me wondering at first where you’d take the topic, but i was delighted that you seem to conclude a rather “so what” attitude. It is over for now, we can live our daily lives as usual, and unless WWIII commenses we can let politicians make asses of themselves without our behavior or values changing. My grandson who is 16 and has autism enjoyed eggnog with me during the holidays, and we speculated about the origin of eggnog. He came up with interesting theories. It was a delight to hear you tell what you know about eggnog. Towards the end of the talk you capped it off with a directive to SMILE even when you don’t feel like smiling. Thank you for that as it is no small thing to practice a smile often. IMO 2017 can be a healthy time of contentment if we just smile more and bellyache less. Or how about not bellyachin at all? That seems like a good plan. ;)). Please keep the fireside chats comin.
